Great

The best podcast app

Best podcatcher!

Love this app! Intuitive UI, simple navigation and lots of good options & settings. Great job!!

Awesome!

The best app for listening to podcasts!

Like a breath of fresh air

Wow... Cant say enough good things about this app. Coming from the completely broken default podcast app, this entire interface is brilliant. The amount of settings available boggles the mind and lets you pretty much set it up exactly the way you want. Plus the separate podcast playlist is great. Yeah, really great!

Excellent

I have used many such apps. This allows for the most flexibility and geared towards power users. This is the best one easily.

The Best RSS Podcast App!

I gave up on Apple weak Podcast App. Tried a bunch of Podcast Apps... This one was the best and had continued to be awesome. This is clearly for the developer a work of passion. He continually updates the app and it has been rock solid on my iPhone. Very impressed. Thanks so much (youve made my daily Podcast listening fantastic again!).

Latest update is crashorific

Crashes literally EVERY TIME!

Bought it. Helps with the dishes. 5 stars

Thanks!

Love this app

Works great! Frequent updates make it better and better. I use this app for hours every day, and it simply works perfect.

I love the app

And all the improvements in this version (for iOS 7). Ive been using this app since day 1 for my iPhone. I cant imagine a day without this app! I would love the option for batch deleting and cleanup, but Im not sure if there is a plan for it in devs pipeline

Best podcast app

Really good app. It will be even better if youll make some upgrade: 1. Smart play function. After pressing smart play button, program must generate playlist, based on some rules, and start playing it. 2. After finishing of playing playlist it have to start playing other unlistened podcasts. 3. Ability to change common podcast channel icon to custom. 4. Start playing after program start (optional).

Excellent app! Full of features

Love it

Nice!

Love my podcasts on this app!

Better than the one everyone thinks is the best

I got frustrated when a feature in the, supposedly, best podcast app would not work and four emails, over 2 months, were completely ignored. I tried several alternatives and RSSRadio is the one that has all of the features that are raved about in the other app, and more. Support requests were answered quickly and thoughtfully, with real answers. I even signed up as a supporter on Patreon because of the excellent support. The silence skip, speed up, and start at features are the best and, in the same amount of time, I am getting through many more podcasts than before. It took me a little while to get used to the queue and auto queue features but now Im regularly picking what I want to listen to, right now, fitted exactly to the time I have available. Im writing this review because my podcast play list is currently empty, which means that I am through a rather large backlog that built up before the switch to RSSRadio. Now Im totally current on all of my favorite podcasts. This is how I know Im getting through much more than with the other podcast app. Almost every "Best iOS Podcast App" article that I found ranks the same other app as the best, and very few of them even mention RSSRadio. Im glad I didnt give up and settle for less.

Exactly what I want in a podcast app

The big thing for me is the hands off management. I subscribe to feeds and then they get polled and added to my play queue automatically. Then after its played it is automatically removed. Completely hands off. Works perfectly for my flow. Thankfully the apple podcast app is such crap or I never would have found this gem.

Great app with excellent silent skip feature

Been using this podcast app for almost a year now and big fan. Two main features that I like are the silent skip ability to import single files. Silent skip will let you finish a 60 min podcast in 50 minutes with no speed up at all. Amazing. I have compared it with similar features on Overcast and this app is better. I put the same podcast on silent skip and 1.1 speed and Rssradio sounded natural while Overcast sounded rushed. I get a lot of hour long speeches off the web and very easy to just pop those into rssradio and add them to a playlist. Rssradio keeps statistics and in the last week I have listened to 5 hours of podcasts and saved 38 minutes just with silent skip.

Polished UI, responsive developer

RSSRadio7 stands out for ease of use, polished user interface, customization options, and responsive developer. Common tasks are intuitive, and the app rewards exploration. I keep finding (and loving) features that I didnt think I needed.

Easy to use and reliable podcast app

Been using this app for over a year now. I’ve shared it with others and am glad I bought it. Never had a problem. It just works every time. Options I use often: sharing both podcasts and links to media files, silence skip DSP effect (Saved 27 hours 52 minutes from July 3-Oct 18, 2015, categories for podcasts, backup and sync database to Dropbox, auto archive listened programs, video and audio podcasts.

You colossal morons

In what bizarro universe does the English word "unsubscribe" mean make all my existing back copies disappear forever. Oh right, the slobbering idiot app developer universe. If thats what "unsubscribe" really meant, then no physical copies of National Geographic would exist anymore, and we know thats not true.

PhD

Solid app for the price. Some issues with multiple downloads of the same podcast.
